Donna Thompson is a writer of Mystery and Romance. She was born in Virginia, but has lived in Ohio for over thirty years. She now considers Ohio her home.

   She is a Mother and Grandmother to a blended family. In junior high, her love for reading turned into a love for writing and she has been writing ever since.

   Her mystery novel,  "Plot Twist" has been released. .

     Julie sets up a fake kidnapping to find out if her husband will pay a million dollars for her safe return. Something goes wrong and she winds up dead. Thus, the first "Plot Twist" but certainly not the last.

     Enter Karl Larkin, lead detective of the Springfield Police Department, and his partner Ted Cramer. Together they refuse to let sleeping dogs lie. They begin to rattle the skeletons in the family's closets, and following leads that only lead to dead ends. Larkin soon finds himself breaking his number one rule: Don't ever get involved with the family you are investigating, and never,  never fall for your prime suspect.
